I can not say enough about the people that helped contribute to the making of this song. We had players from Vancouver to Newfoundland perform on the tune. Musicians are an amazing breed. Not one of the people on the recording even hesitated to help. They all jumped in head first, so a huge THANK YOU! to all of them.

Frontline War

(Lyrics)

It’s 7pm take your pots and pans

Bang em as loud as you can

For all those on the front line.

Be happy where you’re at

Don’t for get to tip your hat

Thank your lucky stars you’re doing fine

They’ve shut the schools and most factories down

And there aint a soul around

All the news on your phone

Is telling you to stay the hell at home

Chorus

Mr. Einstein  is dyin’

All the nurses are cryin’

The gates of heaven are backed up

right to the city morgue

Welcome to the frontline war

Sylvie works in long-term care

long hours it don’t seem fair

but she does it anyway

She can’t believe how they’re gone so fast

Wonders how long this will last

Leaves her speechless with so much to say

Now it’s better if she don’t go home

Only talks to her family on the phone

She tells them she’ll be fine

She’s laying her life on the front line

Chorus

Mr. Einstein  is dyin’

all the nurses are cryin’

The gates of heaven are backed up

right to the city morgue

Welcome to the frontline war

Chorus
