Ken McCoy is a Singer/Songwriter who has been writing, recording and performing for over 30 years. He is an awarding winning writer and vocalists receiving the the BCCMA Socan writer award and lifetime achievement award for male vocalist. He has received many more awards and nominations including the humanitarian award twice. 

  In 2015 Ken travel to New York to meet and learn from one of the greatest songwriters around Steve Earle.  After returning home Ken began writing and rewriting and has come up with some of his best works to date. Ken’s latest album Dead End Road Kid is an acoustic album in the genres of Americana, Alternative Country, Roots and Folk. The album has cuts like After the Stone about a drug addiction to the song Second Wind inspired by a true story about his children and the will to never give up. Ken writes from life experiences and pure imagination and pulls the listener into his stories.

 

   Joseph Blake independent music reviewer compared Ken to the great Guy Clark. Larry Delany of Country Music News "How this man's music remains "undiscovered" at a national level remains one of  music's unanswered questions”.
